The Reverend Peter Johnston was called to Hanover as Senior Pastor in November, 2021. Rev. Johnston was the senior pastor of the First Church of Monson Congregational UCC. He received his Master's of Divinity from Boston University School of Theology and was ordained in 2019. He lives in Hanover with his partner Michael and their dog Deacon.

Chad Weirick

A native of Rockford, Illinois, Chad is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music (composition) and currently lives with his partner David in the Boston area. At the age of 15, Chad graduated high school and went on to become the Organist at Radio City Music Hall, for which he gained a listing in 'Ripley's Believe it or Not!' He also played piano for many different Broadway shows and directed many theater groups before finally moving to Boston to attend school. In addition to being the Minister of Music, he currently is the Assistant Musical Director and Principal Accompanist for the Boston Gay Men's Chorus and also works in the choral department at Wellesley High School. Many groups and artists have recorded/performed his arrangements including the Boston Pops.

Kim handles the day-to-day operations at the First Congregational Church of Hanover. She is responsible for coordinating building rentals, creating the weekly worship bulletin and monthly newsletter, managing Church Windows software, and running the church office located at 17 Silver Street, Suite 201 in Hanover. Kim has lived in Hanover since 2008. She has been an active member of the Hanover Community since 2008. Her activities included the Hanover Club, Hanover School Committee, Hanover SEPAC, and Hanover Scouting. Kim is married to her husband Mike. Kim and Mike have two sons Jackson and Liam. She started serving the church in 2026.
