Blessing of the Animals at First Congregational Church
On Sunday, August 11 at the 9:30 a.m. service, The First Congregational Church of Hanover held a Blessing of the Animals. Both dogs and cats and their owners participated, including Officer Mike of the Hanover Police department with the town policedog. The service was held behind Riley Hall Parish House (17 Silver Street) in the pine grove. Our nearby labyrinth was used for meditation by visitors before the service.
